About This Workshop
Senior leadership in Further Education is rewarding, challenging and increasingly complex. The combination of external pressures, organisational demands and the emotional commitment leaders bring to supporting learners can have a significant impact on their own wellbeing.
Drawing on research with Further Education senior leaders, this workshop explores the challenges leaders face, the impact these can have on personal wellbeing, and practical approaches to sustaining resilience, effectiveness and fulfilment in senior leadership roles.
Through reflection, discussion and practical activities, you will explore your own leadership pressures, recognise their impact, and develop strategies to enhance your wellbeing and sustain your effectiveness as a senior FE leader.
