Our new Executive Director of Student Experience will join our senior team to drive development, improvement and growth. To succeed in this role, we are looking for an experienced leader with a track record of innovating and developing excellent services across the full learner journey.

Many thanks for your interest in the role of Executive Director of Student Experience with us here at MidKent College. This is a brand-new role on our Executive Team which reports into the Principal and Chief Executive and has been designated as a Senior Postholder role to be appointed by the Corporation. The status we have given the role and the way we have positioned it, should give you assurance of the priority we are placing on the student experience at MidKent College.

In many ways, the introduction of this role represents the next stage in the evolution and development of MidKent College. We are an Ofsted 'Good' College, we have very strong finances and we recently took part in an Ofsted pilot inspection which recognised that we had not only maintained our position as a good provider, but also gone some way to develop some new aspects of excellence in our provision and offer to students. All of this means that it is natural for us to focus on developing and embedding excellence across all aspects of our provision whilst pursuing an agenda that positions us as an outstanding College. We are clear that the further enhancement of our provision and support for the broad student experience is a key aspect of our strategy to becoming truly outstanding.

In our new Executive Director, we are looking for an experienced senior leader to join us and to make a positive impact quickly. In this post, you will provide strategic leadership of the student journey ensuring that everything we do is of the highest quality and underpinned by excellence. We are seeking someone who can bring their leadership and innovation to develop a truly unique and sector-leading offer that enables our growth and significantly enhances our reputation with students, parents, employers and influencers. We are not looking to be the same as everyone else, we are looking to stand out from the crowd and therefore, we will need a leader who can drive and deliver this challenging ambition.
