Introduction

Helping People Flourish

The Peabody Academy was established in March 2023 as an employer provider, with the aim of delivering high-quality apprenticeships, compliance training and learning and development programmes for our employees. We are committed to the professionalisation of the housing sector, ensuring our people develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to deliver the best possible services to residents. As part of this, we are ambitious about our future growth and are working towards becoming a main provider, which would enable us to deliver training to external organisations. Our long-term vision is to extend our provision even further, making high-quality education and skills training accessible to Peabody residents, empowering them with opportunities to progress in their careers.

For this key role we are seeking a dynamic and visionary Quality, Teaching, Learning and Assessment Lead to drive the strategic direction and operational management of our educational programmes. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of teaching, learning and assessment (TLA), shaping innovative educational practices and enhancing the quality of the student experience. This role is critical in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and staff development within the academy. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education, TLA practices, quality assurance and for someone who wants to be at the heart of an organisation that is making a real difference.

Thank you for your interest in the role of Quality, Teaching, Learning and Assessment Lead at Peabody. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Academy leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of apprenticeship training and the professionalisation and development of the housing sector.

The Peabody Academy was established in March 2023 as an employer provider, with the aim of delivering high-quality apprenticeships, compliance training and learning and development programmes for our employees. Our long-term vision is to extend our provision even further, making high-quality education and skills training accessible to Peabody residents, empowering them with opportunities to progress in their careers.

We are proud to have recently undergone an Ofsted New Provider Monitoring Visit, where we were graded as Significant Progress across all three themes – Leadership and Management, Quality of Education and Safeguarding. This result reflects our commitment to excellence in teaching, learning and assessment (TLA), as well as our dedication to continuous improvement. As we embark on the next phase of our development, we are seeking a highly motivated, experienced professional to drive our quality strategy with a strong focus on TLA and ensure we continue to deliver outstanding learning experiences.

As the Quality, Teaching, Learning and Assessment Lead, you will be a key member of the Academy’s leadership team, responsible for shaping and embedding a culture of high standards, innovation and continuous improvement. You will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of our apprenticeship provision, by delivering CPD to our skills trainers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and influencing the academy’s broader approach to learning and development.
