Formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College, The Bedford College Group is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 18,000 students passing through our doors each year. Today, the Group is made up of a family of colleges across Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, including Bedford College, Central Bedfordshire College, and Tresham College, among others. This is an exciting time for the Group as we embark on a bold new chapter to strengthen our impact across the region and improve the opportunities of those in our communities.

We are seeking a Group Director of Information Technology to lead our IT strategy and operations across the Group. The successful candidate will have a strong leadership background, excellent communication skills and a proven track record in managing IT services, including cybersecurity and infrastructure, within a large and complex organisation. This role requires strategic vision, a passion for technological innovation and the ability to foster a culture of high performance and continual improvement. The Group is the seventh largest further education college group in the sector by income and comprises seven distinct colleges with three further educational colleges, two sixth form colleges, one agricultural college and one national college for motorsport.
