We are seeking an exceptional leader, with significant experience of leading an organisation of similar size and complexity, to be our next Principal and CEO.
The successful candidate will be a visionary and strategic thinker with a proven track record of motivating, inspiring and empowering teams to achieve excellence. They will have expertise in stakeholder management and navigating political landscapes locally and nationally, to ensure we are strategically positioned to meet skills needs both at local and regional level. They will ensure accountability and enhance the College’s performance within a positive and inclusive environment for both students and staff.

Thank you for your interest in joining Leicester College as its new Principal and CEO.
Leicester College has a long and successful history as the main provider of post-16 education and training in Leicester and Leicestershire.
With an annual budget of £52 million we have around 15,000 students studying with us annually, a curriculum offer that spans basic skills to degree level, apprenticeships and professional training, and some of the best specialist industry training facilities in Leicestershire.
Along with many Further Education colleges across the country, we face a number of challenges and some big strategic decisions about the future of the College.
As we embark on developing our next strategic plan, we are seeking a visionary leader with exceptional skills and personal qualities to guide Leicester College into the future.
Being the Principal and CEO of such a complex and diverse College will give you a privileged role in shaping an organisation which improves the skills and life chances of thousands of people each year and makes a major contribution to the local economy. With committed and expert staff, you will be joining a College which has an excellent local reputation, high levels of student satisfaction and a technical and vocational curriculum offer that is unrivalled in the local area.
