Deputy Group Curriculum Director - SEND

Thank you for your interest in the Deputy Group Curriculum Director - SEND role working across our College campuses. New City College is a large, successful further education college operating in the east of London and south Essex. Our College Group has come together over the last five years through mergers, creating a strong, coherent and ambitious college.

New City College serves more than 9000 students aged 16-18 and a further 20,000 adult learners. Our programmes are broad and our learners diverse in their backgrounds and prior experience. With strong finances and legacy Ofsted grade 2s, we are ambitious about the future.

Our College Group is organised on a matrix system. The successful candidate will lead across all campuses, shaping our culture, ethos and expectations.

We are looking for an experienced FE leader who is ready for this challenge at Group Management level. Our Deputy Group Curriculum Director – SEND will have a background in curriculum and a history of working with SEND. As well as being an ambassador for this area, you will have a vision for what outstanding SEND provision will look like. Your drive for success will help our students step beyond their barriers by inspiring educational excellence, sparking new ideas, innovation and making a positive impact on our local communities. You will be degree level qualified, with an appropriate teaching qualification and have experience of managing teams.
